Extravagant, is what Maya would describe her creative direction for Queenly Cultured. She wants to bring something for women to embrace and be drawn too.
She pondered on many names but Queenly Cultured just felt right and fit her vision. Only 21, Maya has a vision is to motivate women to be confident in themselves despite their differences. This brand is not only for women of varied cultures, but for women with different styles, personalities, and attitudes. Not all women are supposed to be the same, just like all brands are not supposed to same. Queenly Cultured is not like your typical brand because she doesn’t sell clothing, she started an accessories line. She started this instead of a clothing line because she thinks...
..."It’s Different! I like to think outside of the box and do things that not everyone thinks of. I think that alone draws attention."
A variety of head wrap colors for a variety of women #ABrandMadeForQueens
Although Maya is starting out with head wraps, she plans to expand into different accessories. Clutches, handbags, you name it! Maya has a great team of brand ambassadors that help her out because she knows that it takes more than yourself to make a dream come alive. Even with so much support from her team, Maya is the biggest driving force in her brand because no one can truly believe in your brand like you do. She instills in herself that she is a superwoman and that’s what crowns her as a queen in our eyes #HypeYourself2017.
Brand Ambassadors: Jamila Chambers, Ashley Nobles, Bailee Coes, and Taylor Jordan!
Even superwomen run into some kryptonite and face some difficulties. She lives off the scripture Matthew 6:10 “Thy kingdom come, The will be done.” She positively overcome those difficulties by changing her perspective. Knowing that problems will occur helps you handle them, as well as seeing problems as opportunities to better her personal and management skills.
"Also my planner is everything!"
Maya day entails class, working, meetings, studying, and fitting some personal in there as well. Being a senior business management major with a minor in entrepreneurship and healthcare administration born and raised in in Cobb county, Maya has dreams and ambitious beyond her imagination and Queenly Cultured. After she graduates, she plans to go back to nursing school and also develop another business of her own as either an interior designer or a wedding planner.Maya’s ultimate goal in life is to live it to the fullest and be the biggest inspiration for her future children, as her grandmother has been to her.
“My grandmother inspires me because she has always just been a really big driving force in my life. She is such a strong woman and has to taught me how to live life and learn in the best way. She is truly my angel. "
Although she has planned and been apart of a lot of great events, Maya's favorite event would have to be the Element X’s Fashion Show: Luxury because it was a great event and it represented her brand well. Overall Maya’s biggest accomplishment was not her brand itself, it would be molding herself into the woman she is now because she believes she has grown so much in her confidence and abilities. This amazes her and it amazes us, we look forward to see Queenly Cultured Brand grow as much Maya has.
